Alfred V. Edwards

Alfred V. Edwards, 65, died July 31, 1955 while driving on Highway 30 North between Lava Hot Springs and McCammon, the victim of a heart attack.

Mr. Edwards was born July 15, 1891 at St. John, Oneida County, a son of David L. and Matilda Monson Edwards. He was a life-long resident of Malad Valley.

Educated here, he was a member of the LDS Church and was manager of the Malad Lumber and Hardware Co. until his retirement two years ago.

He was married to Vella Thomas July 16, 1910 at Malad.

Surviving are his widow, Malad; one son, Homer Edwards, Boise; one grandchild; four sisters and two brothers: Mrs. L. L. Jones of Ogden; Mrs. Clem Hatch of Las Vegas; Mrs. David Gardner of Alden, OA; Mrs. Victor Thomas of Salt Lake City; Chester and David Edwards, both of Malad.
