Alan Ray Clark

Alan Ray Clark, 60, passed away at his home in Logan on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009. He was born Oct. 8, 1948 in Logan to Veldon and Eva Christensen Clark. He grew up in Clarkston, attending Cache Valley schools and Sky View High School. Alan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He was employed at Schreiber Food for 35 years. He married Benda Bartel and they were later divorced. He then married LeAnn Williams Eliason. They were later divorced. Alan held the office of an Elder in the LDS Church. He was an avid golfer and played basketball in his younger years. He enjoyed going to Wendover and was a big sports fan and dog lover. He had a dry wit and sense of humor surpassed by none. He is survived by his children: Dayne (Jennifer) Clark; Jeff (Lore) Clark; a stepdaughter, Danielle Eliason; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Dennis L. (Judy) Clark and a sister, Anna (Ray) Wadman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at the Samaria, Idaho Cemetery with Bishop Michael Anderson conducting. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, Logan.
