Ada Lusk

Ada Lusk, 98, of Malad, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in the Oneida County Long Term Care Center.
She was born October 7, 1902, in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of David Morgan and Ella Elizabeth Thomas. She was raised and educated in Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School. She married Earl Lusk on February 25, 1925, in Malad, Idaho. For many years she was employed by the J. C. Penny Store in Malad, the American Food Store, and as a secretary for the Davis Water Company in Malad.
Ada was a very active member of the Reorganized LDS Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Ada Gibbs, Malad, a son, Earl Ferrel Lusk (Marylin), Boise, four grandsons, eight great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters: Edith Dechambeau, Eliza Ward, and Sara Palmer; two brothers: Melvin R. Thomas and David M. Thomas; and a son-in-law, Don V. Gibbs.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 19, 2001, in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home. Burial was at the Malad City Cemetery.
