CLEARFIELD – Noel Guy Larsen, age 82, passed away May 19, 2001, in Clearfield.
He was born December 25, 1918, in Malad, Idaho a son of Guy and Chloe DeLone Smith Larsen. He married Margaret Lusk, July 13, 1941 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He lived in Arbon Valley, Idaho; Cache Valley, Utah, Malad, Idaho and Clearfield, Utah. He graduated from Logan High School. He worked for Clearfield City in Maintenance and Parks and Recreation, and Utah State Parks and Recreation as a seasonal worker.
He was a member of the Clearfield 2nd and 12th Wards and was a Boy Scout Leader.
Noel was a member of the Good Sam Club, Past President and Twin Star Riding Club. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and boxing. He was a two time Golden Glove Boxer.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Guy Noel Larsen, Littleton, Colorado, and Ronald Leon Larsen, Clearfield, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and one sister, Delores Steed, Preston, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Sue Larsen.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary. Interment, Malad City Cemetery.
