Adele C. Monson, 90, died Friday, November 30, 2001, at Pocatello Regional Medical Center.
Adele was born August 24, 1911, in Malad, Idaho, to Thomas R. and May Daniels Williams. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She married Max R. Monson on September 21, 1929. Max worked for the railroad in Pocatello and farmed during the summer in St. John in the Malad Valley. In 1948 they moved to St. John where they lived until Max died on April 26, 1975. Adele then moved to Pocatello to be near her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, father, mother, a brother and a sister.
She is survived by one son, Khalil Max (Lois) Monson, and one daughter, Marylyn (Delwyn) Smith, both of Pocatello; one sister, Mary Felix, Ogden, Utah; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial followed at the St. John Cemetery.
