Bert R. Marble our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away February 21, 2016 of natural causes in his Boise home surrounded by loved ones. Bert was born December 29, 1938 to Bert Orval and Alberta Robbins Marble in Ogden Utah. He served the Lord on an LDS mission in Kentucky where he returned with honor. Bert later served 3 more times in the Malad Valley as a Stake Missionary for the Malad Idaho Stake. After finding his “Sweetheart” Karen Hanks, they were married in the Logan LDS Temple on May 25 1962. Bert followed his lifelong dream of farming and ranching, where he raised many young men and eight children of his own? Karen Sanders and Kerry, Alina Jensen and Hoony, Bert Marble and Trisha, Diana Drew and Kevin, Katie Jensen, Tyson Marble, Bryson Marble and Shanna, Scott Marble and Nicole. Grandpa was loved by twenty-three and a half grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bert is survived by his Sweetheart Karen and the eight children, twenty-three and a half grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Norman Marble and Marilee, and his sisters Ruby Scott, Mary Atkinson, Ruthann Zaugg and Lee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the Malad LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 20 S. 100 W. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church from 11:00-12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Malad Cemetery.
