ROY – Brent Udy Earl, 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep November 30, 2008 at his home. He was born August 6, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT to Edwin B. and Marva Udy Earl.

He served in the U.S. National Guard. He married Karen Crase and they later divorced. He married his best friend Jan Talbot on September 16, 1988 in Layton, UT.

Brent loved to spend his weekends in Malad, ID. He loved his birthday and family reunions in Lava Hot Springs. He enjoyed golfing and his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Jan of Roy; children; Julie (Kevin) Howell of Farr West; Michael (Jennifer) Earl of Huntsville; Paige (Andrew) Blancas of South Weber; four stepchildren: Brent and Laura Talbot of Colorado Springs, CO; Billy Talbot of Ogden; Tracy Talbot of American Fork; and Tami and jerry Stickney of Layton; 16 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Rodney (Bernice) Earl and one sister, Noreen Cook, both of Layton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and brother-in-law Lou Cook.

Funeral services will be held December 4, 2008 at Myers Roy Mortuary. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
